To confirm your password, we need to lock the session so we can test the password.
To do that,
Click the Windows Button > ‘Your Name Here’ > Lock.
You can also do that using the Windows key on your keyboard (located next to the left CTRL and ALT keys) + L.

Once locked out, Click on “Sign-in options”

Select the “Key” symbol and type in your password.

If this doesn’t work (ie. You forgot your password) you can revert to the PIN by repeating step #2 and selecting the keypad
