Sonicwall NetExtender us used to create a VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunnel to securely connect your device to your data center of office network.
NetExtender has the option to send a 2FA code via Email (or SMS), but that method is not as secured or as efficient as using an Authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or other solutions like DUO.
We are BIG fans of DUO, and therefor it’s our recommend 2FA app. Below are the instructions to set up DUO as your 2FA app for your Sonicwall NetExtender connection.
Note- this is done on a user basis. We don’t have to change ALL your users at once.

You won’t have to set up any logins. Contact us (via CHAT ideally) during business hours, to request that we replace your Email/ SMS method for your NetExtender 2FA, to use the DUO app instead.
