Setting Up Email on iPhone or iPad - Gallop Technology Group

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://mail.legaltechnology.solutions Log in TO THE “MY SERVICES” tab with the Email address and password for the account you are trying to set up on the iPhone/ iPad.

  2. If you can’t log in due to forgotten password, you must contact your office manager to request a password reset.
  3. Click on the “ActiveSync” button:

  4. Find your own settings (Username, Exchange domain, Server address).

  5. Add the Exchange account on your iPhone, following the instructions below.
    1. For iOS 12: Go To Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add Account
    For iOS 11: Go To Settings > Accounts & Passwords > Add Account
    For iOS 10: Go to Settings > Mail > Account > Add Account
    For iOS 9 and lower:Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars > Add Account
    2. On the Add Account screen, tap Microsoft Exchange.
    3. Enter the full email address in the Email field and your mailbox password in the Password field, then tap Next.`

    4.Your phone/ iPad will try to configure the Exchange server address automatically.
    Note:iOS 11 and iOS 12 do not support automatic setup for Hosted Exchange mailboxes. You will need to select Configure Manually when prompted.
    5. If the server address can’t be determined, you will be asked to enter it.
    1.Server name: your Exchange Proxy server name.
    2. Domain: if your iPhone is on iOS 12 on higher, type in your Exchange domain as it’s displayed on the ActiveSync page. If it’s on iOS 11 or lower, leave it blank.
    3. Username: specify the full email address. You do NOT need to use the “strange” username that is listed on the “my services” web page we visited above.
  6. The device offers to immediately sync with the Exchange server. If you choose not to sync at this time, you can turn on calendar and contact syncing later in Settings > Accounts & Passwords > Account, tap on your account on your phone/ ipad.
    For iOS 9 and lower: Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars, tap on your account.
