IT system security and compliance have changed dramatically in the past decade. Within the legal sector, security and compliance are now primary IT initiatives. When Attorney Eugene Kadish formed his law firm with two partners, they understood the need for an IT firm to ensure they remained compliant and maintained secured technology.
Gallop Technology Group (GTG) was the first and only provider engaged for these services. Eugene met Beits, owner of GTG at an organization they both belonged to. Three years ago, he chose GTG because he was intrigued by Beits’ presentation, and stated, “he had an extreme wealth of knowledge in the area. He not only helped us set up our technology in a proper manner but maintains it well.”
A year ago, Eugene described a problem the firm experienced when integrating a VOIP into their interoffice computer system. GTG was very helpful in identifying and solving the problems, although it was the phone company’s responsibility. “We’re all novices on how computers work. If we didn’t have GTG, we’d have to rely on the Geek Squad or someone else in the marketplace. We’ve used other people to fix problems in the past, but nobody’s ever taken care of the entire system like GTG.”
When computers go down, your office stops functioning properly. The attention is taken away from providing services to clients, while you focus on solving the problem. Eugene says what he likes most about GTG is, “If you have a problem, a lot of times, it is something they can fix over the phone. Their remote service repair is convenient, and a lot of times, the fastest, most efficient way to receive the maintenance we need.” As advancements in technology continue to shape the need for security, Eugene knows his firm must be proactive in protecting the information of its clients. “It’s good to have someone like GTG that you can call 24/7. There is always someone available to begin addressing your issue.”
