Quickbooks Maintenance Request
As a hosted cloud client of GTG, you are eligible for monthly QuickBooks (c) database maintenance and manual backup to be done for your company files.
To perform the maintenance and/or backup, we request that you fill in the below form, to allow us to be efficient, and keep the cost at “zero” for this service.
NOTE- We must know the name of the QBW file, and the location of it, for any file you’ll ask us to work on. On the right side is a quick video that shows you how to find the company file names, and the location of those files. Here is a link to it as well: https://youtu.be/vQm_9Oa73YA

Why is this important?
We recommend that our clients perform a DAILY manual backup of QuickBooks on their own.
Even though we backup our cloud servers every night with a top-of-the-line backup/ disaster recovery software, the built-in backup solution inside the program itself is far more reliable than any other backup solution.
QuickBooks is never “closed” – meaning- the database is always running in the background (unlike a word document for example- where once you save and close a file- it’s not in use anymore by the computer). Hence the reason we recommend that you perform your own backups every day. Just in case.
